Anybody using saunders cd

Published

Since i don't have any paid review course i am just using saunders cd for the questions.

I am doing 100 questions in exam mode daily and just 10 or 20 SATA from nclex 4000.I am planning to study at least 2 month this time .Anybody using saunders cd ??

i just want to know the scores ...mine is just 65%...will appreciate the response !!!

I used the Saunders CD during nursing school and to study for the NCLEX and yes it did help me. If I got a question wrong, I would read the rationale and then go to the book and read the book. That clarified a lot of information for me.

As for the scores, mine were anywhere between 65-80% for 100 questions.

Good luck!

I am using my Saunders cd. We used the book during nursing school, and it helped me tremendously to pass Med Surg I & II. I think it also helped me do well on our ATI exit exams as well. Our school made us pay for a review class, and I bought the 3 week course through NCSBN for $50.

The Saunders CD is a good starter for preparing for the exam. I've found the questions to be on a lower level from the NCLEX. However, do aim for at least 70-75% on exam mode. It's a good indicator that you know your content. If you are on a budget, I would suggest the NCSBN review like the previous comment. There are a number of positive feedback about it from many people on this forum who already took the boards.

I've read Saunders 4ed and Ive done the exam questions but i set it on "application" questions. So far I've gotten 65,69,and 70%... It seems easier than the kaplan Qbank...Good luck!! I take my boards (second time) soon. when r u taking it

thank you all for your responses !!
