Anybody take the ERI Total Testing Exams

Has anyone taken the Total Testing for anatomy and physiology and human growth and development? How do you prepare for it? It has been awhile since I have taken A & P, so I need to brush up on it if this test is in depth. Thanks for any info...

Has your school purchased the total testing package? If so you should have access to lots of their practice tests online. We have used ERI since I started the program and we've found the majority of the questions on the CAP exams come right out of the practice questions. If you don't have access to this stuff, I would just suggest brushing up on things you might have trouble remembering. Erickson's stages comes to mind for HG&D, we've really used that a lot in nursing school. I wouldn't even know where to begin for A&P, I would probably brush up on the stuff you remember being least comfortable with in nursing school, my ERI practice tests for A&P do seem to focus a bit more on endocrine, cardiac, and urinary stuff than anything else, but within those topics, the range of questions is pretty broad.

Thanks for the reply. This is my first semester of nursing school, and they have said nothing about practice test. I completed one semester elsewhere, but we ended up moving. I have no idea what to expect from anatomy and physiology. I tried to do a search for practice tests but could not find any.

We take ERI tests but my A&P and nutrition classes were prereq's for nursing school so I never took those in particular. I don't really find that you can really study for ERI's per se, although I have skimmed major points in review books before since it's really an overview of what you learned in the class (like Saunders NCLEX review or whatever).

I don't think I've noticed practice questions on our ERI's but there are review sections (the ones you have to listen to if you don't score high enough), on ours you can listen to those before the tests too... I guess you could do that if you have access to them (on ours they are in the list where you click on the test you are going to take) if you feel unsure.

Good luck!
