UWF FNP Fall 2017
Did anyone of you reapply to UWF for the FNP program? I applied for Fall 2018 so we will see. Not sure what the typical candidate looks like that is admitted into UWF's program.

Chamberlain FNP 2015 (looking for previous & new students)
I start Chamberlain in January of 2016. Excited, nervous and hoping to balance it all since I work full time and also a mom. I may end up dropping to part time if my manager will let me which so far she won't. I'm only taking the one class right now, but I want to double up so I can get done sooner!

ERI Testing
I guess that is the reason our school waits until 3rd semester to give both sets of Med Surg ERI's and OB/PEDS ERI...to make sure we have covered hopefully more of what is on them. Our school breaks up classes really crazy to me, but I guess they have their reason. Let me know how your ERI goes. I practiced the pharm test on their website and passed it without any trouble, but about 14 of my classmates failed pharm ERI the first time around when we took it for real.

ERI Testing
Our school loves ERI's. We have to pass Pharmacology, Med Surg I and II, and the OB/PEDS I and II. Then in our last semester, we have to pass the RN assess to graduate. I wish I knew a way to study for them. I have no idea how I passed the pharm...so many drugs on there are not even frequently used any more. If anybody has any tips on the MED SURG ones...please help. I have them coming up sooner than later unfortunately.

How many hours per week do you study?
I do not study like I should. I am in my first semester of nursing, and I stress out so bad before tests and wish I would have studied more. However, right now I am hanging in there with all A's. I start med-surg next semester, and I have heard it is really hard. Anyone have advice how to prepare? I would like to keep mostly A's due to the fact I want to go back for a masters. Anyway, I usually study the night before a test, and one of my classes is in the late afternoon, so I study the day of for the tests in that class.

Class Average in Nursing School
Okay, our class averages are terrible. The first average on test one was a 73 and on the second test a 72. We have to make a 74 on tests alone to pass nursing. Quizzes do not help bring up test grades unless you are already passing. I have in the eighties on all the tests, but I feel like I am barely hanging on. How are the class averages in your classes? The sad thing is so many people are frustrated, because we do have a smart group of people, but I don't know what is going on with everybody. I guess nursing is a whole new language and testing style that people are not getting.

Nursing School Entrance Exam
If you are taking the NET, it is only reading comprehension and basic math. I was scared to death, because I knew you had to not only pass but do really well to get into my nursing school. I bought the study guide for the NET, and I did great on the NET. I am also accepted to start my BSN in January. Like someone else said, different schools use different tests, so make really sure which one they are using. Another program here used a different entrance test that did have science on it. But with that said, buy the study book with the NET if your nursing school is using that test, and it will help lots.

Net testing
The reading and comprehension part of the NET was by far the hardest for me. I just took it a couple of months ago, so it is fresh on my mind. Honestly, like someone else said...the book is the best help. I am not a good test taker, but I bought the study guide book, and it helped a tremendous amount. I scored good on the test, and just found out I have been accepted to nursing school to finish my BSN. Good Luck!!!

Nursing School Entrance Exam
if you are talking about the net, it has nothing to do with anatomy, only basic math, reading, and comprehension. if you get the study guide book, you will be okay. i am horrible with standardized tests, and i passed on the first try.
