Have you spoken to the agency? If filing for a immigrant visa then you are affected currently by retrogression so a lot on where you are will depend on your file date. If not immigrant visa what visa has been applied for?

immigrant visa..i've been emailing them and asking them on what stage does my application is but they didn't respond to me..my fear is i already signed a contract with them and their rep, when they were here, promised us that they could file our papers in 3 months time..its already 4 months and they haven't updated me...all i wanted is a pd so that i have something to wait for....

what about u.s global consultants ltd. have you heard about them they are currently recruiting nurses for us and and processing visa for 50thousand. they are in tie up with l&m agency. im thinking of applying but i need some verification that this co. exist.

H2b visa is a seasonal visa and I find it hard to think that nurses will come under it. Remember the US employer has to prove that they can not employ a US citizen or someone who is already in the US with PR status and with the current US job situation and many new grads and season nurses struggling to find work will be hard to prove.

aceraa, if the agency hasn't filed yet or even if just filed then you really are at the end of the long long queue of people waiting for a immigrant visa and currently expect a wait of over 5 years before you get a immigrant visa
