I was wondering if anyone who attended either the Dec. 14th or 17th interview sessions has heard back from Pitt whether they got accepted or not?

I was accepted to the Univ. of Pitt last year and found out about a week after the interview too. John Odonell called me actually at work. It a big program and a really good one too. I chose not to attend, but my current program director at Midwestern Univ. is a CRNA and Phd. grad from Pitt. She is amazing! Good Luck

Hey, I'm glad I'm not the only one wondering about Pitt. I interviewed in November last year and haven't heard anything yet. I really liked the interview and the school, but I'm getting a bit frustrated. Initially, after the interview, they said we would hear yes/no within 2 weeks (that from John O'Donnell himself). Well, even after calling them in December they just said they're still interviewing people and they'd probably call me soon. Now it's January, 2 months later and nothing yet. I'm accepted at another school and I'll probably go there. It's just unusual that Pitt painted the picture of military precision but hasn't developed a straightforward way of interviewing and notifying candidates. I could live with a firm rejection notice, but the hurry up and wait thing is strange to say the least.

The other school that did accept me had the director call me personally within two weeks after the interview and invite me to attend. That was a very nice touch. It gave me a sense of personal contact and personal attention.

Well, if you hear yes or no let me know. I'll post if I hear something too.
