  1. No I didn't get in. I think they were looking for more local type people. One of the first years I talked to said that Sacred Heart hired all of the graduates from the last graduating year. I think since their program is so small it is in their best interest to admit people who will stay in the area after graduation.
  2. Hey Apais, I've read some of your responses to threads and I think I might have met you at the Gonzaga interview, Jan 24th. We were in the first interview group...the few out of towners. Are you from Vermont? I am the traveller from Hawaii. Anyhow I do know a crna from my hospital and he raves about Sam. Well good luck in your decision making too! :) Congrats!
  3. Acey, are you in the CRNA program?
  4. I am greatful I am accepted into the CRNA programs at both schools. From talking with some CRNA's at my hospital, I was told that Pitt has a better reputation for CRNA School. They pointed out that that there are certain faults with the Georgetown's program, such as competition for cases. One of these CRNAs, who is a Georgetown CRNA grad even, stated "Georgetown is not worth the cost of the education and experience I had." She said that when she started her first job she wasn't up to par with the level of knowledge and experience of other new grads. I really don't want to base this very important decision on the views of a limited and possibly biased group of people. That's why I looking for more opinions.
  5. If you had to choose between these two schools, where would you go, and why? I might be in this predicament, so I am looking for some advice. I figured this would be the best source to get an answer. Thank you all.
  6. Hi pinkisnoopi are you the girl i met at the jan 27th interview who knows rudy?? w/b
  7. Hi everyone, I know it is kind of cliche, but I wanted to thank everyone for their generous input into the CRNA application and interview process. I was accepted to Georgetown and waitlisted for Pitt. I was wondering if anyone else knows if they will be in the CRNA class of 2007. Thanks again for all of your support :rotfl:
  8. I was wondering if anyone who attended either the Dec. 14th or 17th interview sessions has heard back from Pitt whether they got accepted or not?
