Any swboces LPN students for 2016

hey I was hoping to get conversation going about the upcoming swboces 2016 LPN program for people that are eitheir applying, been accepted, even past students.... I feel this will keep us all together on program information. I have seen it done for previous years but I can't seem to link with anyone about the 2016 program...I was accepted into the program for this year, looking forward to starting.

Yes, I'm just waiting for the nursing fundamentals book. I'm going to start the reading today, each chapter is like 15 pages, and we have to read 2 chapters. And answer some questions

Hey inspiredbyhealth yes I did receive the info packet. I already started reading the A&P book. If it helps, I am writing out index cards for each chapter. I'm also purchasing spiral notebooks as my own "note taking" book for each of the text books. I label the notes by chapter and topic.

Oh okay...yea and you should actually take some notes while studying...even if you make index cards of certain topics

I didn't receive the packet yet but I'm sure some day this week I will...it's great that you guys are getting on board, I'm still studying the nclex-pn book, I have an old a&p book that I'm looking through for now til I get the packet and book order instructions

No i haven't purchased all books as of yet I just ordered 5 for now. I purchased the ones that we have assignments for so I can get started. And since you haven't received the books yet, the 2 chapters we have to read up on are the human body (1st chapter) & chemostry,matter & life (2nd chapter). Since you are reading an old A&P book try and read about those two topics.

No just on the A&P book and nursing fundamental. I purchased 3 text books and two srudent guides.

Chapters 1&2 on the A&P and chapter 7 on the fundamental book

All I need left is the drug book access cards and the online purchase

Oh okay thanks so much....It's getting down to the wire guys...in about 2 weeks we will embark on a life changing journey....I'm excited, blessed, thankful, anxious, nervous, but most of all ready for what lies ahead....I've wanted this soooo bad for sooo long I consider it the opportunity of a lifetime
