Any suggestions for Anatomy and Physiology

Published

I started Anatomy and Physiolgy this semester. Does anyone have any suggestions for this rigorous course. I made an A on my first test. Thank God!!! It was by the hardest. Any suggestions:uhoh21:

Everyone studies different ways :). I have heard that whole of mind learning when it comes to diagrams makes it easier (I memorised the diagrams in my first test - Victoria, Australia) so didn't need to use it. Whole of mind learning of diagrams means that you increase the size to whatever you feel would be necessary, stick/pin them up around the room, colour and label them. Then you don't study them as such, you just as regularly as you want do a quick visual scan of them. Over time, they will be locked into your memory.

As for text stuff, I just revise, revise, revise. Not only to learn by rote, but to learn. (btw I got 81% in my first test, Either A- or B equivalent, so well done to you with your A :smiley_aa )

Hopefully you're adjusting to the class o.k. since this posting...if you haven't already done so, check out the Anatomy links in the Pre-Nursing Student forum, there's lots of helpful information and websites there.

The most useful advice I can give you is something that was told to me...stay on top of the reading and never let yourself get behind.

Good Luck!
