Any STLCC students?

Published

This post is for anyone one who has/is attending STLCC.

How is the nursing program? I will be attending the nursing program at Meramec. I am so excited and nervous.

Hey there! I'm currently attending STLCC:) I was supposed to be able to put my name on the list after my summer Biology class but since July they changed the pre-req's! Are you on the list yet?

I was on the list for 1 1/2 years. I just got in and start this month. :)

Are you attending Meramec or Forest Park?

Meramec. You?

It depends which classes have the better professors and work with my work schedule. I've taken classes at Forest Park and Meramec. This semester I might take a couple at the South County location. Do you have all your cure classes finished?

I am going to take A&P2 with my nursing classes this semester. Then I only have Micro left.

I was wanting to take A&P 1 this semester but since they changed the pre-req's I had to change my schedule and am enrolled in 12-week hybrid Psychology and Intro to American Politics. I'm praying enough people sign up for the American Politics class or I'll be bummed bc I dropped A&P for that class! lol I work full time and have a 5 and 8 year old so they'll both be in school starting August. Have you taken any classes at the South County campus?

I just graduated from STLCC in December. Wonderful program. Passed NCLEX and great teachers. However, word of caution: EVERYONE has kids and work schedules - they do NOT work around this. And this is not a negotiation (trust me...I am a mother of 4)

Congrats! I can't wait to get started. Which campus did you go through?

I went to Forest Park. People say it's the "easiest" school out of the three (based on the amount of work and personality of the teachers). Flo Valley is the hardest. I heard they "weed" out the most amount of students (and those students subsequently transfer to Forest Park).Haven't heard too much about Meramec...but my Kaplan teacher was from there and she was really nice.
