Any Spring/Summer ADN programs available to apply for?

I'm looking to start an ADN program this January (probably too late) or May/Summer term. Are there any community college or similar programs that start during this time period? I'm from Mississippi and there aren't any in my state. I'm aware that the majority of programs start in the Fall--but figured i'd ask just in case there was a program I didn't know about.

Thanks!

Hello,

Most programs have already filled seats for a Spring/January start. Most of the programs in central AL start in Fall only....with a few exceptions like Jefferson State Community College. They usually have cohort every term...spring, summer, fall...but due to changing curriculum they will not have a summer 2017 cohort next year. I believe other central CC programs are Lawson State, Wallace State-Hanceville, a CC in Tuscaloosa (not Birmingham)...but I believe all of these only start in Fall. This AL thread is generally not active../or updated often but hopefully someone else can provide insight as well.

Oh just looked up Wallace State, they had a Spring 2017 cohort as well...but of course the deadlines have passed/classes filled.

Do you have any more of the pre-reqs to take? Is cost a factor? Do you know if you will be residing in Birmingham or another part of AL? All of that factors in as well.

Hope that helps,

Blue

Thank you for the reply. I figured my chances were low but maybe someone new more about it than I did. I have all pre-req's completed and trying to keep cost low. Getting into a CC has been tougher for me than a BSN, but I really need to look at those CC programs because i've already got 60k in debt and too much more will sink me for years to come. I have a lot of family in the birmingham so it would be a comfortable area if I were to find a school near there.
