Okay.. where should I start..
I will be graduating soon from RMEC and it was quite an experience. You will have to sacrifice 14 months of your life in order to survive this program. It is time consuming, exhausting, and frustrating because of the amount of tests given in such little time. If nursing is truly your passion, then go for it. Please make sure you are going into nursing for the right reasons like love for patients and not money. The money is not worth it because it comes together with lots and lots of stress. The program is Mon - fri 8-2 but when you start clinicals clinical hours are 630am - 12pm. you are young just out of high school and really should be able to handle the stress. There are single mothers with 3 and 4 kids doing the program and struggling of course but it could be done. If you set your mind to it, then you will be able to finish. if you are not sure and just want a job, then I would think twice about it because you are still in time if you decide a career change.
Any questions you have feel free to ask and I will answer.
Hi BDiddy16 I am currently in the nursing program at Robert Morgan. My class started in January but I didn't start until feb 24th because I already had my CNA certification. From what I was told, they had clinicals during core. We are currently in intro to nursing and we have clinicals 3 days a week until the 24th. There was a class that started a week ago with Mrs Patterson, I'm assuming you're in that class?
Hi,
I am also trying to get into the lpn program at RMEC but i was told that it doesnt start until october. Thats a long time to wait considering that we are in may. I was told by the rep that its worth the wait than going somewhere else that is farther away and have clinicals far away also, eg Miami lakes or Lindsey Hopkins. Do you think Rmec is worth the wait? Are how are clinicals? Are they close by as the rep said? What is your overall thoughts on the teachers and the program? TIA

Hello, my experience at this school has been nothing but great. I cannot speak for the other instructors but mine is great and very knowledgeable. Clinicals are typically done at Perdue but sometimes we go to east ridge. Both places are very close to the school. 4 months is not long of a wait at all. Trust me when you start you'll wish you could take a break lol. The work is tough but doable and you must stay on top of your studies. I say if you want it go for it.

Hi there, I was wondering if there are any current Robert Morgan LPN students/graduates who can tell me about their experience. I'm starting soon like around March, but they don't give much information on the class. I was told it's Mon-Fri from 8 am-2pm and that was about it lol. Is it really hard? After graduating high school I took a break so I have no college courses :imbar Will that affect me much? Please share as much info as you can
Thanks so much!
