Okay.. where should I start.. I will be graduating soon from RMEC and it was quite an experience. You will have to sacrifice 14 months of your life in order to survive this program. It is time consuming, exhausting, and frustrating because of the amount of tests given in such little time. If nursing is truly your passion, then go for it. Please make sure you are going into nursing for the right reasons like love for patients and not money. The money is not worth it because it comes together with lots and lots of stress. The program is Mon - fri 8-2 but when you start clinicals clinical hours are 630am - 12pm. you are young just out of high school and really should be able to handle the stress. There are single mothers with 3 and 4 kids doing the program and struggling of course but it could be done. If you set your mind to it, then you will be able to finish. if you are not sure and just want a job, then I would think twice about it because you are still in time if you decide a career change. Any questions you have feel free to ask and I will answer.
