Any RNs involved in community health education/promotion/prevention?

I am an RN currently applying to study for a masters in Public Health. If I am accepted and succeed, I would like to work in the community promoting health via health education/prevention and public health initiatives. Does anyone have any experience of this? I'm interested in the type of work that may be available for an RN with a MPH.
