Welcome :) I hope everything is just peachy. Yeah right lots of school work ahead, plus I have to leave over 30 pages of abbreviations by Aug. 20th

I applied for the '09 graduating class. Leslie is waiting on my references to come in, then I'll interview in September. I am hoping to get accepted! If not, I'll be sad. I've spent a good 2k on some prereqs and that is only 3 classes.

How is it going for you?

You will get in:) Leslie is great at what she does. I started this week actually, not counting Thur and Fri as orientation. I must say that it is a lot of material to keep on top off.

I just graduated from there. As I recall, the interview was pretty standard. Tell me about yourself, how do you deal with stress, are you prepared for a year long commitment? Why do you want to be a nurse. You'll probably interview with either Jean or Karen. I'm told Karen can appear to be intimidating to some... but don't be intimidated. She's very nice, very cool and very much an advocate for the students. Both are great people to get to know. They will also tell you more about the program so come with questions.

They, like in all interviews, want to know three "big picture" things about you.

1. Can you do the program?

2. Will you do the program?

3. Do you play nice with others?

You wouldn't get an interview if they didn't think the first question was a yes. So just focus on the last two... and think of examples to back up your answers.

I got my letter on Thursday. I was accepted! Yay!!!! Thanks for the help everyone!
