Right after I got my RN license about two months ago I came to Korea to stay with my husband who is an active duty.
I want to get a nursing job which I had worked so hard for one!
However, it is hard to get a position at the clinic here(such a small clinic!).
So, I am thinking about joining the Reserve.
I am a new grad with no experience other than the clinic rotation from the school.
Are there any requirements for a new grad to join the Reserve?
In fact, I have talked to a recruiter who is located in Hawaii.
He said I need some working experience as an RN and a referral from work.
Is that true? I have not seen any comment on that on goarmy.com.
And we are to go to Italy or Germany next year. If I am in the Reserve is it easy to transfer to another location from one location?
Thank you very much!!!!

You can join as a new grad - or as an experienced nurse.
New grads need letters of rec from teachers / supervisors
RNs need letters of rec from supervisors
both are options... i'm not aware of a reserve unit in korea ;0
