Any recent WKU Nursing students?

I was wondering how competitive it is now. I've done some research on average GPAs, HESI scores etc. of those admitted into WKU's BSN program, but can only find older information. I know someone who was just accepted with a 3.8 GPA and a very high HESI score and was wondering if that was the norm? How likely is it that someone with a lower GPA (but above 3.0), 3.5 science GPA, and above 85% on the HESI will be accepted? Any info will ease the stress!:)

Good question. They may have waited till they get all the letters back then send out some more info?

I guess so! But I am going to go ahead and get the things that they know for us to get at scrubs express.

Hello! I have also been accepted into the BSN for this spring! I'm so excited and nervous at the same time. I'm coming from BGTC so I don't know anything about WKU. I did already get my scrubs ordered and all the other supplies at Green River Scrubs. That place is amazing and they said it is actually best to get it early. They were really helpful there and you can also put it all on layaway...just pay 20% down. Where are we supposed to go to get our books and how do we know what to get? I know it said to try to have them by orientation, but I don't even know where to go to find out what we need! Also, does anyone have any information on the CPR certification class?

Firstly congrats! And thanks for the info on green river scrubs! How many pairs did you get?? We are all still waiting on the info on the cpr certification and all of that also. I was hoping it would come today since our info was due on the 13th. And I thought the info by the orientation date meant that we could buy them there at orientation but it could mean that we need them by then. Hopefully we hear more back soon. Thanks! I only got one pair...they said students usually just get one pair for the first semester. If you go there, you should also try on the greys anatomy shoes...they are amazing (like walking on a cloud, lol). I found the group on fb and joined. I'm just waiting on approval from brandon.

That's ok! I'm glad you came up with the idea to make a fb group though! That will be a much easier way to communicate with each other! I had trouble finding your name...there were a lot of brandon davis's...but I searched for WKU BSN 2016 and then selected search all related groups and I found it! Just in case anyone else sees this and has trouble finding the group.
