Any recent Excelsior MSN grads/current students?

Have seen a lot of posts on the MSN here, but not a lot of info on recent graduates. Am considering that for next year (BSN to MSN, informatics). What is the capstone like? and the final 'retreat'? I'm not far from Albany, so if I had to go to a 'retreat' I suppose I could. =)

The retreat is now online/"virtual." I have one class and the capstone remaining for the Informatics MSN. My impression of the capstone is that you need to find an MSN-prepared preceptor and come up with a project, but we'll see. I won't be resuming my classes until May 2014, after I am home from deployment.

Hmm, yes, I forgot about the preceptor. In informatics in this neck of the woods, that's going to be a toughie. I'll keep an eye out. :) I am only about 40 miles from Albany, so EC might have a contract or an idea as to a preceptor in that area.
