Any "tools" you love?

Hi all! I am in my third semester of a 4 semester ADN program. Just wondering if anybody has any invaluable tools they would recommend? I found a foldable clipboard online but not sure it would fit in the pocket of my scrub top. Anybody use the foldable clipboard? Thanks in advance for any tips! :)

@rafv: In nursing school, my goal was ER. I started in med-surg because they didn't hire new grads into ICU or ER at that time; only experienced nurses. I liked med-surg but without patient ratios, it was killer! At the time I was offered CCU, they also offered me ER. My hubby worked ICU at the time so he told me to try it...and I never looked back! When ER cross-training came up, my hubby told me that I will always regret if I didn't at least try it...so I did it... I might have felt differently if I had chosen ER back then though, but I don't regret my decision I made a decade ago.
