I have a couple of questions that I'd like to ask a plastics or cosmetic surgery RN if there are any on the board. I'm considering going to a plastic/cosmetic surgeon for repair of a facial disfigurement, and I have a few questions.
I know, I know, I need to consult with a surgeon but I have some questions to ask BEFORE that...
I'm really scared that I might make the problem worse instead of better. Anyway, if there's anyone who would be willing to be a sounding board, I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks a lot!
Golly Rebecca, I've seen pics of you, and I have to ask... what the h*ll do you exactly feel is wrong with your face???
I saw a plastic surgeon once, but it was for work a little lower than the face.....
I have a pretty considerable facial disfigurement on the right side of my face due to a melanoma wide excision surgery and skin grafting. Its been bothering me more than ever lately (no speculation here as to why THAT might be), and I just wondered if there was something I could do about it surgically.
Maybe I'll get brave and post a close up pic so you can see. Or maybe not.
