I have same experience in applying to Phila U as well. They are personable and professional and helpful and I will say...warm! Trying to find a preceptor/site now; my sure thing had to move away. Most places nearby here do not allow SCNMs. I may have to contract in SC (2hours or so away) or farther. I don't mind tho...if I could just find one!
Please keep me posted on your experiences.
Update: I did have my interview for Phila U. on 06/04. It lasted quite a while--as it was thorough. I did learn that this program is designed to specialize in nurturing/mentoring students with "Midwife Tutors" and "Mentors". The program has a goal for facilitating the "cohort" bonding, being connected and communicating with each other. I will say in the last two years that I have been dealing with them, they know me by name, are personable professional and nurturing. And every person that I have had a conversation with (at least 3) were midwives. Moreover they were the first program in the country to offer a Masters in Midwifery.
Any new updates?

I'm really interested in the CNM/WHNP at Georgetown - does anyone have experience with their program?
