Hi, I am new here and wondered if anyone could help.
I has heard a while ago about a new visa that would allow 20000 nurses a year to obtain a visa for the USA due to the shortage of nurses. Can't remember the name of the visa.
However I have just come across Schedule A for Nurses and physios on a website, but I could not see a date it was written.
Has anyone heard of it, is it genuine?
Thanks for any advice

A few years ago this happened for nurses but the visas was quickly swallowed up. Nothing happening like that as far as I am aware at the moment and schedule A hasn't been used for nurses since retrogression started the last time in 2006 (think it was beginning of 07 when schedule A was stopped)

check out Atty Gurfinkel's website for immigration news. They're more up to date than posting here in allnurses.
Thank you both for you replies.
