Any one finishing up their first quarter?

Well, I am. Got finals this week (Mon,Tues, Wed.) Off for 3 weeks- thank God! And wow. Can't believe I made it through it. I am stil nervous about my first qaurter though. With out the final, I am pulling out with a B's. I am a little nevous about my Physical Assesment return. We basically go in there pick a card and do the assesment on a dummie. So any suggestions? I have studing pretty hard core and practiced on my boyfriend all too many times for him to care. The assesments will be: Neuro, Abdomen, Heart, Peripheralvascular, and Lungs. Pretty easy- just I am afraid I will forget something!

And does the cost for nursing books ever cease? My goodnes, I paid almost $500 for my first quarter, and this next quarter it looks like atleast $300. Crazy.

Alright, hope all is going well with you guys. And is anyone in the same boat as me?

It may help to get in the habit of always assessing each part of each body system in a consistent order - whatever seems logical and works for you. You're less likely to leave something out that way. Of course, you'll also stop to spend extra time on anything pertinent.
