just came across this info:
[color=#660066]the illinois articulation initiative:
easing transfer
the illinois transferable general education core curriculum is a package of 12 to 13 lower division courses (37 to 41 semester credits) providing the foundation skills (oral and written communication, math) and breadth of knowledge (humanities and fine arts, social and behavioral sciences, physical and life sciences) expected of every college graduate. about 6,500 individual general education core curriculum courses offered by the 100 participating institutions are listed on itransfer.org, along with a student planning worksheet that you can fill in, print, and take to your academic advisor.

illinois virtual campus
the illinois virtual campus is a partnership of illinois colleges and universities that provides students comprehensive and up to date information about the online courses and programs available and provides support services for online learners throughout the state. there are currently more than 4,000 courses in the ivc catalog available to students interested in studying at a distance from the campus at which they are enrolled.
good luck in finding a school that fits you.
