Any one here from California?

If so are you a prenursing student? Or already in the program or did you already graduate?

I am currently a Prenursing Student. I am finishing up Microbiology and taking chemistry this summer (NERVOUS!) I still have another year of school and should be done by next spring with the majority of my prereqs and my GE. I will be able to transfer to hopefully Stanislaus and finish my chemistry there.

I'm here in California, but I'm an International Nurse, Applied in CA BRN, got accepted, tried 2 times NCLEX-RN, unfortunatly falied.. will try again.. :) How about U?

I graduated from CSU stan. It's a boring area but the nursing program is really solid. Very high % of getting a job after graduating vs other areas and CSUs if you're willing to stay in the 209. DMC hires only local new grads, and they hire good amounts. Memorial hires within the area but they are a POS system.

what was your GPA and TEAS scores when Applying to Stan? I have a 3.3 GPA right now that should be a 3.5 by the time Im done with prereqs.

Lol :) I got into a school called Pacific College. It's a "for profit" school but the credits transfer to most Cal States, which rocks my world. :)

Pre nursing I had like a 3.7-3.8 gpa, teas of somewhere between mid 70 to mid 80, its been a while. Hit every other category that gave pts toward admission to the college of nursing.

What school did some of you go to out here in Cali? I'm currently going to attend CNI College for there LVN Program. I was attending SAC to major on BSN degree to be a RN but the waiting list was over 2yrs and I still have two semesters left before finishing my Pre Req classes. I decided to go to a private college and start from a LVN to move up to my RN degree. I'm currently have my EMT license and Graduated the Fire Academy I got my AA in Fire Tech. decided to keep my career in the medical field. Originally wanted to be a FF paramedic.
