Thank you! :nuke:
It's been a long 16 weeks so I am looking forward to summer break!
Have you finished all the classes that are required for the AA? You should
do those while you are waiting to get into the program, that way you can take the summer and winter breaks off.
Actually, they called me 3 days before the program started because one person declined their offer. So I had to scramble to get everything together. It was pretty crazy but I'm glad it happened.
Good luck to you as well and let me know if you have anymore questions
Wow! Three days? Still I'm sure after waiting so long it was probably great news. I plan on taking the ofther G.E. Classes while I wait. I'm taking Speech 5 this summer and Psych 19 in the winter and the rest while waiting. But will you let me know at what point or how long it took them to ley you know you have been accepted and are officially on the waiting list.
I'm thinking of applying at others as a back up. My Grades are all A's and B's but just in case I don't get in.
Thanks
Hi Reyele,
Just to add my experience, I have been put on the wait list for Fall, which is 1 year from my application date. I don't think I'll make it in, tho, since I have a pretty high wait list number. I had finished most of the extra SMC classes at the time of application & did really well on the TEAS. I guess I should be in for Spring--1 1/2 years after application.
Sorry I forgot to respond to your question about the TEAS. I found the English sections not very hard, but the science and math were personally challenging for me. I went over and over the Study Guide that I bought thru TEAS. In the end I did really well.
SMC is going to/?has changed tests now & will not be using the TEAS anymore.

Hi
Just wondering if there is anyone at Santa Monica College that just recently entered the Nursing program. I wanted to know how long you actually ended up waiting before you got in. I also wanted to know once you apply, does that mean they are guaranteed to let you in -if you have finished all the pre-requisites and met the GPA requirements. How do they pick and choose who they let in.
Curiosity is killing me:typing
Thanks
