Hello, new to this site. I am a operating room nurse in Gainesville, but live near Williston. Nice to meet you. This seems like a great site to chat and exchange ideas.

Hi Danno, Thanks for the encouragement! I worked at a Pediatric clinic as MA last year, but now i am at home with kids and studying for Nclex, Hope I can pass it :uhoh3: In my country Puerto Rico i work in MED/SURG and Oncology that its the only experience that I have. How long have you been in OR? i which i could have OR exp. there is surgery outpatient clinics in Ocala that i would like to work Mon-Fridays(8-5) only that would be excellent for me that i have kids. but i think that for a level-entry will be difficult to gets in without any experience,right? well, see you around..take care.

I'm from the Eustis Area. There are 3 different hospitals you can work from in the area which is Lake Co. OR you can travel South an hour to Orlando or an hour North to Ocala Lots of oppurtunities

Hi all! I lived in Ocala for 20 years, then moved to Citrus county and now work at a rehab center. I'm working on my RN-MSN degree with UCF. It's a lot of work. Still don't like this online thing, I'm an auditory/verbal learner. I'm having a difficult time completing all the reading/postings/research required in the time span that is expected to be done in.

There are several places to work beside ORMC/MRMC/WORMC. It depends on what your specialty area is, or if you are looking to find a new area to work. Citrus county is only about 1/2 hour away from Ocala, so you might consider looking here too.

Hope to here more from you Ocala nurses.

It seems like that life is beautiful as a nurse. I want to know isn't diffcult to pass the RN exam as a chinese nurse?

Someone konw ,tell me please. Are there many nurse from other counturies around you?

I really like ORMC... I work in MED/TELE 3rd floor. I have an awesome director

so far. I moved in june and have worked there since july. I am a newbee to the hospital and state. I have been a nurse for 18 yrs...
