Hi there,
Hoping someone can help me find a good, affordable, post masters DNP program that is primarily online? Have checked into CWRU(I live in the Cleveland area) but it is not affordable for me right now. Currently waiting to hear more about Capella, Frontier, and Univ. of Toledo/Wright State. It seems that more and more options for DNP programs are out there but I'd really like to hear if anyone has experience with them. Thanks so much, shannon

When I was doing clinicals one of my preceptors was in the DNP program through SLU (st louis university) and it was almost entirely online. Kind of pricey though!

Not sure if any of them do 100% online. Here are three that do the vast majority online with semester visits.
1) Duke
2) Johns Hopkins
3) University of Colorado
I applied and was accepted at all three. Chose Duke because of the reputation, tuition (approx $35K with everything--Johns Hopkins nearly double), only 4 total visits required and the time required during each visit. For example, with Duke, only 2--maximum 3 days per deal--Johns Hopkins, you are there for a full week at a time during each semester.
Thank you, both, very much! The cost is definitely a big part as well. I am actively gong to pursue the univ of Toledo/wright state but it is very competitive from what I have read. But am forging ahead and crossing my fingers!! In-state tuition though, so more affordable.
Take care and thank you again,
shannon
