Any Moraine Park Students?

I got accepted in to the Nursing program for the Spring 2013 start for core courses. I am wondering if there is anyone else out there that will be starting with me? I will be attending the West Bend Campus!

If you haven't had chemistry in the last 5 years you need that, then A&P 1 and you can petition once you are in a&p 2. You also must take developmental psychology with or before your first semester of core classes. They recommend that you take it before since core classes are very demanding. You also need to have microbiology before your 3rd semester of core classes. What classes are you taking now?

I recommend that you have all of your non nursing classes done before you petition or be taking your last few the semester you petition. You wont have time or the energy to do anything but the core courses during the program.

Mandy did you sell your anatomy book back to the bookstore? I'm not sure if I should keep it for reference or sell it back.

It's hard work, but if you keep up with the readings and take the time to learn the materials you will be fine.

It is true when they say you will have no life. Your house will never be clean again.

Recording lectures for me was the key. I would actually listen to them prior to each exam with my pp in front of me. Then I would study more.

If you don't understand something ask either another classmate or even someone in a higher semester. It os stressful but remember the end results.

No I bought Pharmacology Made Incredibly Easy... I never used it. The flash cards are useless as you are encouraged to make your own for pharm and it is required for clinicals. Another words do them in pharmacology and you wont have as many in clinicals to do. I just read the book listened to my recording and studied the PowerPoint. I ended up with a high A in the class.
