Any Moraine Park Students?

I got accepted in to the Nursing program for the Spring 2013 start for core courses. I am wondering if there is anyone else out there that will be starting with me? I will be attending the West Bend Campus!

Sorry. Life has been crazy the last few day my son just had ear and mouth surgery.

Congratulations! I am not taking any summer classes besides one to renew my cpr. Other then that I have all of my classes done besides my nursing core classes.

I took micro at west bend with Liz. I really liked micro but I also like pharmacology and no one I know likes that class. There are three or four people I know taking it in fondulac with a teacher that has online open book tests.

Yeah he is fine. He just needed tubes and had to have his frenulum clipped. We just had a bunch of pre op appointments to go to.

I had one person tell me to go through fond du lac and one to go through beaver dam. I ended up in beaver dam because of the times the classes were offered. fond du lac was from 12-5 and that didn't work for my summer schedule. I hope beaver dam is easy. I have kelly. She is suppose to be really good. we will see. Our orientation is on Friday. I'm excited.

Who are your fav. teachers. Are there any you would avoid???

As far as Nursing classes? I have like all of our teachers they are all very good. The thing about choosing classes is that you really don't have to much of a choice. When you go to your first meeting you will pick classes if there is more then the allotted people for one section you draw out of a hat of poker chips if you pick a red one then you go to anther section. After that it really is who gets there first unless you have a pact with your classmates like my cohort has. We planned ahead of time so we all got what we wanted or compromised with another for night vs. Morning.

Ouch!! That could really suck for me. Did more people want morning slots or night slots??? I might be screwed if I get put into nights. My husband travels a TON and I only have day babysitters....

There are more morning clinical spots but I believe foe skills more night spots. I wanted mornings....for the same reason but I only got clinicals in the morning. My skills class was at night. Pharmacology and fundamentals we did not have a choice.
