Any 2012 Midwestern CRNA applicants?

anyone apply for midwestern in arizona, crna program to start next fall? Lets talk!

Hey everyone! I have scheduled an interview at Midwestern for July 22. During my shadowing experience I actually met a CRNA that teaches and conducts interviews for their program. She said she never asks clinical questions.... they are more along the lines of "What do you do for fun? Why do you want to be a CRNA?" She said to give real examples of what you do for fun... she said everyone has the same answers and you want to say something that sets up apart. I also met a few students that are graduating next month and they said the program is really hard simply due to volume of information and no time to study it. They both did a year of clinicals in Florida... they said the majority of the class goes to Florida and maybe 5 people don't. One student liked it and one student hated it. So I suspect they would ask how willing you are to travel for clinicals since most people do. Anyone else scheduled for July 22?? Also... this is my first CRNA program interview. Any words of wisdom from interviews from different programs? :-)

Hey Rn438! What day did u interview? They told our group that they were making final decisions this coming Friday. They will notify us in 3 weeks. What did they tell you?

So three weeks after this Friday? The admissions counselor told me something but I must have misheard

I interviewed last Tuesday , I was told they would decide on Monday ( today) but I have now heard different things from others . Maybe I misheard .

hey everyone! check your online portal! i interviewed on a friday and by the next friday i had an "accepted student checklist" pop up on my portal. i haven't received a letter yet, but they are asking me for a deposit so it looks like i'm in!

congrats jhodaki! I dont have that so I am guessing I didnt get in. I knew it, anyways. pretty bummed.
