Does anyone have any knowledge on RTS? I worked in the NICU the other day and notice a baby having this on his chart. I have only ever heard of it once before in my life and it was given to my nephew as his diagnosis, but I never followed up on until now. I was wondering if there is any similiarities in Autism or some other "markers" that anyone can enlighten me on. I have to write a paper on it and the Practicals from someone else who has seen it up close or experienced it is appreciated..thanks for any input.

This is what I found when I googled. (You had misspelled it, btw.)

None of the citings I glanced @ gave any sort of clear picture, but I found this site thru one of the listings: http://www.rubinstein-taybi.org/index.html :monkeydance: YEssss! Eureka!
You might want to look in Smith's Recognizable Malformations(http://www.amazon.com/Smiths-Recognizable-Patterns-Human-Malformation/dp/0721606156/sr=8-1/qid=1169783259/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/105-4791421-2517227?ie=UTF8&s=books). Also, ask the docs for a reference article. Very interesting case.

We had a baby with this, he looked just like the picture in Smith's.
Sadly, his parents decided they didn't want a retarded child and put him in a home for handicapped children.
Seems to me that they should have allowed him to be adopted, instead.
