Any Ideas?

As part of my pediatric rotation, I have to do an oral "teaching" session to a group of 2 year olds. My topic is electrical safety ( staying away from stoves, irons, ect..) My teacher wants us to be as creative as possible, and me & creative just don't mix. If anyone has any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it. The presentation just has to be 5-10 minutes long.

Thanks!! By the way, did any of you have to do this in your pediatric rotation?

Here are some kids sites that MAY have what you are looking for

For two year olds you can't go past bananas in pjamas - easy to do - get a pair of striped pj's if you can make a few new lyrics to a simple kids song and get the kids to clap/sing/dance with you.

Here is the link to playschool - they have been going for 30+ years aimed at 2-4 year olds.

Hope they give you some ideas. The other places to look are on some of the goverment websites - they should have some simple teaching tools.

Try bringing in props or visuals and add music or a jingle. Kids love to sing.

I'd say keep try and it simple... 2-years are smart, sure, but they can only comprehend so much. :)
