Any hospitals that pay for your education/schlrships in northwest Indiana?

I need some type of experience or education so that I can go further in my career of nursing. Please give me your best advice. How can I obtain a scholarships or maybe a contract to work with a hosital .

There are hospitals that will pay for your school and/or give you a scholarship.

If you know anybody who works in a hospital already, use them as a reference (if they approve) and try to get your foot in the door.

If you can do that, you need to blow everyone away with a good solid work ethic and a desire to learn.

This creates a positive reputation that will set you up for success.

Scholarships are usually earned and you may have to do some work to get them. I had to be a part of a committee, have a good attendance, excellent reviews, write a few essays and be noted for being a solid worker.

If you can get tuition reimbursement, then you may need to attain certain grades and work a certain number of hours to qualify.

The trick, of course, is getting the job in the first place.

Use your connections, get your feet wet (even if it's a position you don't want-- it's the desire to work and not just go through the motions that get you noticed and remembered), and don't ever let them hear you complain about any requirements.

Just do it.

It's not easy but it worked for me.

I became an RN for practically free and that made it all worth it.
