How did you get your hospital job???
Did you take comm 101 ? in college it helps you socialize and network with people a little bit better. It's sometimes true you have to know people to get the job, because people can put in a good word for you sometimes.

Northwest Indiana hospitals hiring new grads?
You all are so lucky to even have a job. Just know for nrsing I am still looking for a job. I would be very thankful to have a job. Ive been unemployed for about 5-6 years. So yes, I am still in school, and focusing on education to be an RN. i HAVENT Took the time to look for a job in the hospitals. but i would like to work at a rehab or hospice.

Can't get a job as new RN
Yes, working in hospice or rehab is the best . its a starting point. No body can go from graduating from working with surgeons or crna's if you have no experiience. its all about working your way there and learning along the way. education in nursing is a lifelong learning experiecne. that ppl should love. I am also cnsiderin nursing but I make it a passion to help others as well

New BSN w/ No Experience = No JOB = Frustrated!
The reason it's hard to find a job after your grad is because people don't want to start at a bottom position. You have to work your way to getting on the top. Gain experience, and volunteer. Do research, n observe. There are scholarships that will pay you a stipend and make sure you work for that particular company after you grad. Also, Interns. That's my advice. Or try nursing homes. Or work at the school in that related field. MY opinion. Thanks.
