I personally cannot recommend any school in particular, but if you are looking for a list of schools, then here is a good website:

Hope that helps.

They are all gainfully employeed as RNFA so that syas something:)

I went to the program at Heritage Hospital in Taylor, Michigan. Excellent program, did a great job covering all of the didactic material.
Good luck..............................

What is an RNFA? Thanks in advanced
An RNFA is a Registered Nurse First Assistant. She/he works in an Operating Room on a surgical team assisting the doctor. Primarily you will find them on open heart teams harvesting leg veins, as an extra set of hands druing the anastamosis, and for assisting with closing the chest. They also work in many other services also. They can either be employed by the hospital, privately by the physician, or independently. If you think of them as functioning as the first assistant to the surgeon, similar to what the resident does. Hope that this gives you some idea.
