Hello! I've been accepted into PSON AAS Program beginning Fall 2017 and its odd not to find any of my fellow classmates on this site :unsure:It would be nice to get familiar with one another before the program begins & update one another on how we are coming along in preparation of the program. Maybe even share some information from other threads as far as increasing our success in the program! The competition is finally over and we are officially a family Well, hope everyone enjoys their day and I'm excited to hear from my soon to be fellow classmates! Congratulations
Hi Paris614 do they have an evening program? and do mind sharing how many days per week you are required to be in class/clinicals thanx
Hello,
Im in the AAS program and the days you are in class depends on the credits you come in with.
First semester: Monday- 8am-1pm clinical
Tuesday- 8am-12pm lab then 5 pm-7:30 pm math
Thursday- 1-7pm lecture
Second sem: Monday 8-4 clinical
Tuesday 8-1 lab then 5:30-8pm lecture
Friday0 8am-11 am pharmacology then 11:30-2pm lecture
Third: i have two clinicals -one is a 12-hour shift, the other an 8-hour shift on two separate days plus i have lecture one day, all day.
you don't have an option with lecture time and day but you do have 3 options for clinical days (Saturdays as well) and you have 2 options for lab day.
The straight evening isn't an option i believe... unless something changed.
@Paris614 Thank you so much for replying. eventually i have to quit my job i see.

How long does it take for people to get a response from Ms. Gallo?
The fastest way to get in contact with her is by phone. I called last week and she picked up quickly. I also emailed her two days ago but she hasn't responded yet. Honestly, it seems to me as if they have only a small number of sits left right now and are still debating which one of us (the ones who haven't heard back from them) gets the seat. This is hard. I never thought this was going to be this nerve wrecking. Just crazy...
I followed up and she said I should know something by the end of this month. This kind of stress is not helping my summer body, lol.
That's a very long time :'(. It's been a month and a half since the applications close. I haven't heard from them either. I emailed Ms. Gallo and nothing yet. What program did you apply to? I applied to the ABSN
Hey!!! Congrats to those who have been accepted and good luck to those still waiting. I am on leave at the moment but will be rejoining the new 2018 cohort coming in.... but I say if your curious reach out to Maria... that little lady is a real powerhouse when it comes to keeping us sane. And if she doesn't know the answer she will find out.

be careful with transfering in math for medications. your transfer will only be accepted IF you score 100 percent on the math validation exam. id recommend taking it at PSON. the instructor is soooooo good and you don't take the course for the entire semester.
