Nurses Entrepreneurs

I just went to a seminar and am all hyped up. I think it is time for us to get down to business. I've been in ICU, management, legal nurse consulting and all that crap for 20 years and think it is time for a change. Anybody out there interested in brainstorming about business ideas? Working for themselves as RN's?

I have been very interested in starting my own home based business. I seem to be interested in the insurance industry, but really don't know how to get it off the ground. I'd accept any advice someone could send my way. Thank you.

great thread. My biggest issue is too many ideas are flowing. I need to just focus on whats attainable. I have worked agency nursing for two year and saved enough money to start a business. My wife is from Vietnam and we are already in production phase of selling medical scrubs. We hope to branch into footware next. Since I have access to fabric....I will start seperate site for that also. But now I am think...i would like to do some side business with nursing placement. Not a nursing agency...but just placement service that I get a finder fee from hospital.
