I am in the process of being hired on for an EFMP coordinator/Special Needs Coordinator RN position with a contract company. I have been asked to submit salary requirements. I have tried searching for a salary range and haven't found much. I have been a nurse for 10 years this summer, but not much experience in this arena. I don't want to shoot myself in the foot by submitting a low ball offer. I would welcome any advice.

More information needed - is it with the Army? Air Force? Is it usually a GS position?
It is a contract position in an Air Force hospital. I found a few other listings for contract positions at other Air Force bases with other companies, which did not list salaries. I found some Army listings on USA jobs with a wide range of salaries from $22/hr (NAF position) through GS-11.
It sounds somewhat similar to case management, so I would look at a salary similar to a GS-11 with your area's locality pay. But I wouldn't quote them the GS-11 step 1, you should at least be a step 2 if you have 10 years of experience. If you have a BSN, add another step. A specialty certification would be another step, but it has to be related to your position.
Good luck!

Thank you so much for you input. After I posted my question I took some time looking at similar job postings. I was kind of thinking along those lines already but wanted to make sure I wasn't too far out there.
They offered me a salary that was right in the middle of my range with paid MAJCOM down days. I start July 20th!
