Any CSUB Fall 2012 Hopefuls?

Do you remember what it said the application exactly?

I think it said they tell us in july. If so I can't wait that long anymore. I don't understand y they are taking so long. Half the files were complete. They only had the other half to add in the grades. Good or bad news I really want to know soon. By soon I mean by today or tomorrow.

Yeah they said July so maybe it will be. I am really hoping that's not the case

I know how you guys feel! I still have until around the 20th or so of July to here from CSUSB. Waiting sucks!

I hope you guys find out this week. Especially for people who have to take let another school know their decision.

I hope if in July it's in the beginning of july. I am getting impatient because I need to buy stuff for my other school. I can't believe it's taking this long. I was at csub today and felt the urge to go to the nursing department and ask when they would send out the letters. However, I didn't. I told myself I'd give them until Friday b4 I start bothering them. It's hard not knowing.I have to buy a uniform set, books, ati package and other stuff that I am not sure I am gonna use yet for the other school. I keep holding it off like I held off paying my tuition fee. If I don't find out by friday I am gonna email our adviser and ask. I don't know how long I can keep postponing this. My other school starts in Aug and I have to have everything including uniform and books b4 then. I have homework to complete before the first day of school.

@stacy: The program would start at the end of September. I think one of the only reasons CSUSB and CSUB get away will notifying so late is because they are both on quarter system and therefore start later than the other schools.

@gur: I am so sorry your going thru this. It must be tough when your second choice is bugging you about paying tuition, paying for ATI testing, supplies, books etc. While your top choice sits here and takes their sweet time.

I know both CSUSB and CSUB are one of the last schools to send out notifications. At least you should find out in the next week or so.

A good way to see when other past students got notified is to look at old threads. Hopefully there is more info there, that can give you an idea of when you should be notified. Someone told me that CSUSB lets me know around the 20th. That is a looooong ways away. CSUSB last date for final transcripts is July 2nd. I still have to wait for that July date a few days after for those postmarked, last minute transcripts.

My thoughts are, what are these schools doing that is taking so long? There is only so many people that are competitive enough that have in progress transcripts/class. They should be at least compiling a list of competitive applicants. I hope they do not wait to evaluate until ALL transcripts are received. Ugh this wait is making me crazy!

DarkBLue: I already Paid my tuition fee in full because they kept bugging me. THey called me and told me if I didn't I was out of the program. I don't know how long I can keep holding off on the other stuff I got to buy. THis is awful. Our unofficial transcripts were due a week ago. If they weren't sent they took your name off the list. We have to send in our official transcripts after we get accepted sometime in july as well. So I have no idea what is taking them so long. They had so much time to figure out starting june 14 to now what students were competitive. Last year I left to england on july 1 and my friends found out b4 that date. SO I keep praying we find out this week. However, things were different because you had to take pathophyisology during the summer so I am thinking that's why they found out so early. THis year you do not have to take in over the summer. So it's hard to tell when we will find out. Waiting is hard. I hope you find out soon as well.

gur: I know now exactly how you feel. I just got accepted to a RN program that needs to have everything done and paid for by the time my top choice gets back to me.

This is seriously unfair....I am happy but not happy at the same time :/
