Any CSUB Fall 2012 Hopefuls?
You got one here!
According to the nursing department whatever grade my professor gives me by the end of june 16 is the grade they will consider. So it's a matter of me getting a hold of her and asking her to go over my grades. I am gonna see if I can just talk to her before then. I called her once and I am trying to be nice as I can without constantly leaving her calls. at this point I feel like the B is the grade they are gonna use so unless 2 people drop I won't get in.
yea I have a feeling the letters will be sent out by next weekend.
Oh okay I was just guessing because I've always got letters through the mail never emails for the community colleges. So that's really good if they email us and I am almost certain that by next week we should all know. This is a scary thought. Well, whatever happens I am fine with it. All i know is I tried my best so if it wasn't meant to be then there's nothing I can do. I am still gonna try to fix it. Well good luck Staceym I know your gonna get accepted.
this is the email eva sent me when i asked about how many people are they going to accept.
the department of nursing is able to fill 60 seats... .this is considering new applicants and also those who have been given permission by the undergraduate programs committee to re-enter the program this fall.
It means depending on how many students got consent to come back because they had to leave for an unexpected reason they might take up some of the spots. So if there were ten students that got consent to come back that would mean only 50 students that applied will get in. I guess now I know for sure I am not getting in. Oh well. I guess I'll just have to wait.
I am not too sure. She didn't really tell me how that worked or how many students were in that position. I hope that it's only 1-2 students that had to stop the program because of uncontrollable reasons that forced them to. I don't think failing counts for a reason to come back on good terms. Also, I hope like the top 10 students only applied to csub as a back up school and plan on dropping. Fingers crossed:)

Does it say in her syllabus that an 87% is a B+? If so, FIGHT IT. Politely and respectfully of course. Emphasize that you need that + for points.
