I understand this could also be in the Australia forum, but I hope to grab the attention of Canadians.
If you worked there, did you sign on with an agency? If so, which one?
Any recommended hospitals to work in? I would like to work emerg if possible.
How long did it take you to obtain your temporary working Visa? Which specific working visa did you get?
Do you need to obtain an Aus license, or is our license Transferable? (someone told me it was)
I will have more questions, but for now those will suffice. I hope someone can help me out!
Thanks

You need a license for that country, they may accept your licensing exam, but you still need to have a license that will permit you to practice over same. Same thing that Americans go thru.
No exam to take for there, but you have to obtain an actual license to practice there.

Hi X treme
I am Australian and I have a Queensland Nursing Council link that will assist you with how to get Registered if you wanted to work in Queensland.

Good hospitals in Brisbane
Princess Alexandra Hospital, Royal Brisbane Hospital, Mater Hospital
or if you would like to work in Gold Coast
Gold Coast Hospital
the ones I mentioned are Public Hospitals. There are Private Hospitals in Brisbane: Wesley Hospital.
I hope this information has helped.
There is no exam to do in Australia. Whereas I know I have to do one in Canada:uhoh3:
Good luck;)
Thank you!
I have some reading to do.
If anyone else can provide additional information, please do so! I'm hoping to find a reputable agency as well.
