Does the state you are working in have an electronic nursing license verification system? If so, are paper nursing licenses still considered a valid method of verification?
Yes, they do have an electronic verification system and I also have a paper copy of my license. I just do not understand why I am required to carry these documents EVERY TIME I cross. Those documents were required in order to get my visa.
I am thinking to ask their supervisor but I was advised not to because they will flag and harass me everytime I cross. I really do not like carrying too many documents with me (I am paranoid about losing them) and if it is not necessary I do not feel I should have to.

Hey all,
I have commuted to the U.S for some time now since I work in the U.S.
While I was going to work one of the U.S officers stopped me and said that I needed to have documentation to prove I was a nurse. He said that it is required that I have my nursing license, visa screen, TN-I94 and passport at all times I go to work. I only had my TN-I94 and passport, he said next time he will not let me cross.
To me that does not make sense since you need the visa screen and proof of nursing in order to get the TN visa.
Has anyone experienced such a thing?
