I'm wondering if there is anybody out there who has gone through some loopholes and taken an online LVN-RN (ASN/BSN/MSN doesn't matter) and who liveed in California at the time of education? What I'm saying is if you took a LVN-RN Online course out of state?...I know that California doesn't recognize Excelsior education.....I really want to continue with my education as a nurse but I want to do my RN online because there is so much competition out here and I can't afford to waste time on waiting lists or applying year after year just to get into a program....I'm just about willing to do anything except move to anothere state for a year or so in order to complete the program....I have small kids so me going out of state and them staying here is just out of the question.....I'm hoping someone has some insight since the great state of California doesn't accept many online RN programs unless you already have an RN license....Any insight would be helpful.....

Indiana State University. California accepts theirs.
Thanks for the information Sue...I already spoke to someone from Indiana State University....Unfortunately, that program is just too dang long for me....I already have a BA in another field and I'm in LVN school at the moment, and I would be better off just applying to SJSU's regular generic BSN program because it's the same in length.....I'm looking for something that's going to be a little bit quicker than 3 years (this is with out general education) to complete a BSN program....
If anybody else has any other suggestions or any loopholes that they went through and somehow got their RN online from out of state please let me know...
Thanks Again!
Sorry, trying to bump the thread

Kaplan University has one. Check it out. It takes 20 students out of 1000. Isn't this amazing?
