:lol2:I just received my acceptance letter from Navarro College for the 2010 LVN program. I am so excited, nervous and scared out of my mind all at one time. I know I can do this, its just the fear of the unknown and the little voice in the back of my mind that keeps saying...."are you sure you can do this???"

I am almost finished with it... the school has a very high reputation in the DFW area. Don't worry just study hard and work hard. The year will fly by.

Which campus are you are at? I got the Corsicana campus. I do have a question if you dont mind. During nurse camp, do they give you your schedule then so that you know what books to buy. Is there still a set color and company ie Dickies of scrubs that you have to have. Thanks for the info. I just dont want to be behind at the very get go. lol :)

I got accepted to the Waxahachie campus. I am excited too. See you at camp!!!

Well, we start in just a couple more days....I cant wait!! Do yall have everything you need for class? (supplies wise...).

I have to check a couple of my books, I looked at the handbook and the ISBN # isnt the same as whats on the books.

To those who got accepted if u dnt mind answering what where the pre reqs and what did yall get in them

There are no pre-reqs required for the lvn program, it just helps if you have cna experience, college credits towards the rn program points wise... Some people get in straight out of high school...hope this helps.

I have just receive an alternate letter from the Navarro College LVN program. During the nursing info sessions in November of 2010 the program director stated that for the 2009 program she had 53 alternates and used everyone on the list with the exception of 3. Is there anyone out there who has experienced being placed on the alternate list for the LVN program and tell me what my chances are of possibly being accepted?

Thanks.

Hi Vandarma,

I also received an alternate letter in May from the Navarro college lvn program, and I still haven't heard anything :/. I wanted to know if you've heard anything or know of someone else who has?

I also just got accepted in the lvn program at navarro college for the 2012-2013 year! I would just like to know from the few that have been there what is it like, I am so nervous, I don't want to do bad and I don't want to be behind!

Is it real hard to get into the program? How can I improve my chances of getting in?
