Are there any students at bmcc applying for fall 2009 nursing program?
Congratulations!BTW does anyone know what the required gpa for admission both day and evening?
I am just curious to know. A friend spoke with ****** regarding changing to days and he flipped through some pages and told her a lot of people for days had a 4.0. She only had a 3.84. Anyway, she did get in, as well as I, with a 3.91 for evening.
I am so very very happy.
Again, Congratulations to All!
Hi everyone,
Congratulations to those who made the Spring program! I am targeting the Fall '10 evening program and I'm taking Micro and Psy240 this Spring. I was just wondering regarding the 3.84 GPA for the evening, is that only for the Preclinical GPA or is it overall GPA? Right now, my PCN GPA is 4.0 but I can't apply until I finish Micro and Psy240. Thanks!

Sorry, I meant the 3.77 GPA cut-off for the evening...
Hey hjohanns!
Congrats on your acceptance to the nursing program! I see you're in the morning section as well I'm glad that I saw your post on the nursing shoes and didn't buy any nursing shoes yet. I'll look around to find some Oxford brand ones. Will you be bringing your book in tomorrow?

Hi DDeguzman2,
That gpa is for PCN (which is 3.77, the minimum you're suppose to get to be eligible). Your cumulative gpa should be over a 2.0 or 2.5 but please checki with the nursing coordinator, Mr.S. And every semester the gpa requirement changes depending on the applicant pool. So far, you are have excellent gpa, keep it up. I took psy 240 already on Sundays adn the professor was great. If you want to know her name, I can PM her name since we can't put it on the forum (since it's open to everyone). I am taking microbio in the summer time, though.

For the bcls at bmcc go to the main website and do a search for CPR or bcls and it should come up and you have to call a number. I think I have it written somewhere if I find it I will post it.
