Any Aiken Tech or Augusta Tech Fall 2011 Applicants?

My ADN application is officially in at Augusta Tech and I'm also going to apply to Aiken Tech next month, as well as a few other area programs (in radiologic sciences). I figure the more apps I have in, the higher my chance of acceptance to at least one, haha!

So anyone else in the running for one of these programs for Fall 2011?

Update everyone....spoke to head of admissions and they have made decisions already. The delay right now is that they are deciding what information to include in the acceptance letters. Everything should go out by Tuesday the latest according to the person I spoke with. Keeping my fingers crossed that the torture of not knowing will be over next week. Good luck everyone!!

Did anyone else just get nothing?

Still nothing. I didn't even get a rejection letter : ( I feel like my paperwork was lost or something....I have a 3.2 GPA and made a 98 on the PAX. I tabulated w/ the 3.5 GPA and 92 on the PAX that one of you posted in comparison to my numbers and, well, I should have gotten in. I want to throw up.

MBM, you should definitely call up there Monday morning when they open. They must've missed an email trying to get them out last minute yesterday. With your GPA and PAX score, I'm sure you'll be joining us this year!

Eris, I can't wait to go pick up my packet Thursday (wish it was Monday) and go over all the information!

Yeah, I'm so upset.....I think I was overlooked : ( I keep hoping it's just a mistake, but......since I didn't get ANYTHING in my inbox, I feel like I wasn't even in the applicant pool somehow.....I turned in my paperwork in Feb. or something, and that was that. If I didn't get in b/c of grades or something, that's okay, but to not get in b/c of a clerical thing...sigh. Well, maybe I missed something. I turned in my application for admission, my nursing app., my transcripts, and took the PAX. Was there something else I needed to do? It's been a horrible weekend to say the least : ( (But good 4 u, tho! Yay!)

MBM....hopefully they just haven't sent out all the emails. Like KLBINAUG said, call them on Monday and find out what happened.

KLBINAUG....I'll be there Thursday morning first thing too...lol. Maybe we'll run into each other. I'm really excited to finally be able to get things going again and get my degree finally. I regret not finishing in New York but maybe it's for a reason. Oh well. Sooo excited!

@ Eris143 & Klbinaug :yeah::yeah::yeah: It's so good to see a thread for Augusta Tech. I am SO excited to 'meet' two of my new classmates. I will be picking up my packet this Thursday too. I know that this is a dream come true for us! I can't wait to begin this new journey in my life. I've been reading threads on what to we should expect for our first year of nursing school and I am glad to say I can't wait to STUDY!! Lol:yeah::yeah::yeah:

Actually, they have. I had to send in an appeal. I would have been right in, too : ( I had 2 classes that I took twice, and so I am disqualified from the program. I'm gonna be sick........I can't believe a dream can be dashed like that, just like that. If they don't let me in, I'm not really sure what I'm going to do.........
