Any advice on group project?

I'm retaking Psych 101 this summer to improve my GPA. Unfortunately one of the requirements is a goup paper & presentation.

My group has not even started. I emailed everyone in the group and asked to divide the work up so we can get done. I haven't heard one word back from anyone.

I want to email the instructor and ask if I can just turn in my own paper since nobody wants to work together. There are only 3 groups in the whole class and each has their own assigned topic. I hate that I'm grouped with the slackers in class:banghead:...what would you do???

I would end up just doing it myself. I hate group projects because I am the one that gets stuck with the work. I would rather just do it myself and know it is done right. Good luck.

You should definitely talk to your instructor and see if you can do an individual project, explain to him/her that you aren't getting cooperation from your partners and maybe he/she will say something to them and they'll get motivated..

Why have your grade be affected because they don't want to do the work? And why should they get a good grade if you do ALL the work??
