Any ACC students out there?

Published

Just curious if there are any other ACC students out there. Love reading all the posts from Houston and Dallas but would like to get some input and advice from other ACC nursing students. I'm taking nursing skills 1 and hoping to get in in January. Good Luck to everyone!!

Just graduated from mobility in August. It's a tough school. Pass percentates for the boards are good though. I made it!!!!!! Good Luck.

Congrats, Robynhood. I've heard it's tough.

How are the instructors? Any recommendations/advice about the teachers or the program in general? What makes it such a great program? Which hospitals are clinicals generally held? Thank you for indulging my curiosity, as I am going to apply at the end of the year. If you don't want to reply here, please feel free to PM me. Thank you!

The instructors for the mobility program are different than the traditional for med surg except for L&D and peds. Clinicals are at Brack, Seton Main, St. Davids. Psych is at State Hospital and Seton Cove. I didn't say it was great I said it was tough. But mobility was only 3 semesters. 2 long 1 short. Almost all on line. We all did alot of griping because we weren't told about the online portion until the first day of orientation. Lots of things that could be improved but it's done, I'm finished. Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!

Hello!!

I'm level 1 ACC ADN student. Third week of clinicals in San Marcos and really enjoying it. I am learning so much.

We have our final exam this Wed. in Fundamentals and start med-surg a week from this Monday. The time is flying!

If you have any specific questions, I will be happy to answer them for you.
