Hello everyone...I'm really nervous about taking my nclex in 2 weeks. I have used the kaplan book, prentice hall book, and a hesi book from my mom when she was in rn school. I have been using prentice hall's cd and I haven't really gotten over a 70%.My mom, who just took her nclex-rn in may 07, said that the nclex isn't really that difficult as these questions, she said they are more of the "high" level questions. Is this true? I want so bad to call Pearson and change my testing date but my mom said the longer I wait to less of a chance I have at passing...Just need a little peace of heart:uhoh3:

Hi Crys. I just took my NCLEX-PN in Ohio on October 10th. My one suggestion to you would be to schedule it as soon as possible. I was the first one to take the test out of the first graduating class of my school and was a nervous wreck for the week between receiving my ATT and actually taking the test. After the test I realized that it wouldn't have mattered what I studied, because I still wouldn't have studied the right stuff. I walked out of the testing center in a daze, sure that I had failed. Called my fellow students and whined and cried about it! I was only in there for an hour and twenty minutes and about 93 to 95 questions. I was mad when the stupid computer shut down! Come to find out that I passed. Yeah me! Every fellow student that I've spoken with has felt the same way. So far 6 of us have passed and only one has had more than 100 questions. She actually had 205 and cried the whole way home, sure that she had failed. I think that you will find that this test is not like anything you've ever seen before, in a good way. You can do it!!!!

I am also a nervous wreck. The only thing thats keeping me back is I might be having back surgery and I don't want to pick the date until I am sure. Either way I will be doing it now because of the deadline of the ATT. I also have the prentice hall book, I think I will be getting the Saunders book too. GOOD LUCK
Thanks for the advice...I really appreciate it!!!..And CONGRATS!!!!!!!
