Anxiety-NCLEX, last of schooling

Hello! I am looking for any advice on how to deal with anxiety d/t preparing for NCLEX-PN exam, intimidating clinical instructor and course load!

I am in my last term of nursing school. We have 19 credit hours of class. We have full days of class 2 days a week, and clinicals one-two days per week. I work an 8 hour shift as a CHHA on the weekends.

I am worried about preparing for the NCLEX...I don't know if I learned enough. I have a disk that helps me study and take practice quizzes, which I am using, so that helps--but I am still very intimidated to take that test.

Our clinical instructor is highly intimidating this quarter. I dread going back this week. According to her, we don't know anything and she says we should all flunk. (This after only one day). A couple of gals in my group mouthed off to her and she was angry, so I hope she was just having a bad day. We have to do six 8-page care plans for her, including all drug cards. That, along with 4 classes has me so tired I can't see straight.

Oh, yeah-and like many others, I am a wife and mom, which is wonderful but trying to keep everyone happy and playing chauffer to the kids gets a little time consuming, as well.

Any advice from anyone who's been there?

Thanks! :(

Just take it one day at a time.

CIs can be mean or good...but you have to play by their rules until you graduate...that's life.

what CD do you use...I had saunders and felt like it REALLY prepared me for the NCLEX RN.

Thanks for your words of wisdom...we are using the Mosby's CD-ROM to study.
